Desert Thunder

A new laser weapon is stolen, but it turns out that Bison isn't behind it this time. Guile and Blanka go in to investigate.

Out in the middle of an ocean, a Navy ship powers up a laser weapon. It targets an island, and promptly blows the entire place up, taking out important military targets such as trees and rocks. The test is a success as the island is destroyed, and all the crew of the ship celebrate that their new weapon works.
 

Their celebration is short lived however as a mysterious new plane approaches the Navy boat. T.Hawk drops down and promptly rips up cables connected to the laser cannon, then calls down some clamps from the ship to attack to the weapon. It is then stolen from the boat, and is placed inside the plane. T.Hawk's new mistress is more than impressed with this, offering Hawk some sexy talk talk.
 

Meanwhile, Guile watches Blanka take on some wrestler guy, who Blanka beats easily and sends the wrestler out of the ring with his rolling attack. Guile and Blanka then walk outside, only for some paper to roll into Guile with the SF logo on it. They go to meet up with Escher, who tells them how the new laser weapon has been stolen.
 

Escher hands out some photos who show the one who was responsible for it - a woman called "Saturn Hammer". More surprisingly, Escher hands out more photos showing T.Hawk stealing the laser. Escher states that T.Hawk had gone undercover, but they lost contact with him three months a go. It's also revealed that Saturn Hammer's plan is to destroy the Pentagon with the stolen laser, but they need to get fuel for it, and the only place they can get it from is a nearby air base. Escher sends Guile and Blanka there.
 

Saturn's plane arrives at the air base and deploys T.Hawk and some jet pack cronies, who start to steal the fuel. However, Guile and Blanka suddenly burst out from hiding and attack the jet pack guys, Guile even managed to totally burn one.
 

As all the jet pack bad guys are beaten up, T.Hawk flies up back to the plane. Blanka follows him by doing his rolling attack, and Guile steals a jet pack from one of the beaten bad guys to follow them. Blanka gets inside the the plane, only for T.Hawk to tackle him and send them both out of the plane. Somehow though they both survive and crash land into some desert below. T.Hawk explains to Guile and Blanka that he was undercover, but then went to far in and got himself into second in command of Saturn's operation. However, he now decides to help Guile and Blanka.
 

The three manage to sneak into Saturn Hammer's base, but get spotted by a guard who starts shooting at them and this alerts all the other guards. They all start fighting, and the commotion alerts Saturn Hammer who runs out and is naturally rather unhappy as she sees all her guards get beaten.
 

She takes some pot shots at T.Hawk, but quickly realises that she is outnumbered, and so instead does the best possible thing - activate the base self destruction sequence, and then shoots the roof and flies out to save herself.
 

Guile, Blanka and T.Hawk manage to survive though as the base explodes. Meanwhile, Saturn is now on the roof of a old casino building which is closed off to everyone. The laser is now built into the "Luna" logo, and to test it she decides to shoot a satellite in space.
 

The laser is fired and easily destroys the target. She then puts in the co-ordinates for the Pentagon, but by firing the laser at the satellite, Guile and co. see where Saturn now is.
 

They go after her, and arrive at the building. T.Hawk flies up to the top whilst Blanka once again uses his rolling attack to move upward. Guile goes the more usual way of going up the stairs, but as he opens the door he trips an infrared laser, which alerts the security forces.
 

As T.Hawk flies up to the top, Saturn spots him and starts using the laser to try and blast him out of the sky. Back inside the building, Guile takes on the single guard who tries to stop him, and once again managed to burn his opponent before beating him. Back outside, Saturn fires the laser a second before T.Hawk uses his dive move to plough straight into the control console, destroying it. Because of this, the laser misfires and ends up hitting Escher, who just happens to be there (the laser doesn't kill him though, or seem to harm him in any way, however).
 

Saturn attempts to use the laser on Guile and friends, but Guile rips out the fuel pipes and aims the contents at the now on fire control console. A huge explosion erupts, and Saturn is too close.
 

She is thrown off the building by the blast, and T.Hawk attempts to save her. However, she pushes him away and then manages to get away from him escaping into thin air.
 

Back on the top of the building, everything is about to explode. Guile and Blanka pick up the guard that was helping Saturn fire the laser, and jump off the building and into the fountain below. Guile says he'll be ready to take on Saturn whenever she comes back, and T.Hawk says he'll help him out when the time comes.

Whilst it's all well and good that Guile and Blanka saved that bad guy, what about the other one Guile defeated earlier? No one goes back to save him. I guess saving bad guys isn't worth it if they are too far away.

The laser has the power to obliterate islands, but when it hits Escher out of the blue, it does nothing.
