Battle to the Death on the Beehive Planet

With the Decepticons starting their energy plundering scheme, Galvatron says that the first planet they will raid is one that has the structure of a gigantic beehive, so they head toward it. Within a few seconds Soundblaster finds that a ship is approaching them and that it must be a planet Beehive scout ship.

The occupants on the scout ship are indeed from Beehive, and have also seen Scorponok. The captain sees the logo on Scorponok and realises that they are Decepticons. Scorponok then starts firing at the scout ship and seemingly destroys it, but not before the scout ship sent a message back to it's home world. Deciding not to bother to inspect the wreckage, the Decepticons continue onward to Beehive.

Meanwhile the Autobots are chasing after the Decepticons and eventually find the wreckage of the destroyed scout ship. Chromedome flies over to investigate but only a small part of the ship remains intact, and even that has a large hole in the side of it. Inside the ship Chromedome finds nothing but more wreckage and dead bodies, but a single survivor appears and mistakes him for a Decepticon, but Chromedome says he's an Autobot and takes the survivor back to Fortress' ship.

The survivor is given some medial treatment and the Autobots ask him if he was attacked by the Decepticons. He says he was and then goes on to explain about the planet he comes from. Beehive is a large world where the workers collect energy from space and store it within the planet. The planet is ruled by a Queenbee who lives in a tower surrounded by an energy moat.

Meanwhile inside the tower the Queenbee is told that a Decepticon ship is heading straight toward Beehive. Knowing that the Decepticons are coming to take their energy, the Queenbee tells her defense commander to recall all ships and then send the fleet out and intercept the Decepticons before they can come close to the planet.

Back at Fortress' ship, the Autobots discuss what the Decepticons are going to do when Daniel runs in and says that the scout ship survivor is calling for Chromedome. Chromedome heads back to the medical room and finds that the survivor is going to die soon. The survivor gives Chromedome a medallion and tells him to find and give it to his son, Makk, and then he passes away.

The Decepticons finally have Beehive in their sights and head towards it at full speed. Galvatron decides to lead the invasion personally and takes Sixshot and the Horrorcons with him, leaving Scorponok and the others to destroy and Beehive defenses that attack them.

With Galvatron and friends making it into the planet the Beehive army starts to attack but are no match for the Decepticons who start to shoot all of the attacking ships down. The Queenbee orders for all children to be evacuated immediately whilst in space the Beehive fleet is still forming and isn't ready to attack yet, leaving the Decepticons free to destroy everything.

Meanwhile in space the Beehive fleet has finally assembled and goes off to attack their enemies...but they end up shooting at the Autobots, apparently not knowing that they are the good guys. Fortress knows that they cannot counterattack as this would prove to the Beehive fleet that they really are evil, so instead Chromedome, Hardhead and Brainstorm leave their ship and try to tell the Beehive fleet to stop firing as they are not their enemies, but the Beehive admiral doesn't believe them. This is reported to the Queenbee and the defence commander tells her that the Autobots and Transformers like the Decepticons and are just here to steal their energy.

The Autobots return to their ship having been unsuccessful in stopping the Beehive fleet from attacking them. Fortress says that they must not counterattack, but this angers Chromedome as it means the Decepticons are going to steal all of Beehive's energy before the Autobots can stop them, so he runs off and flies to Beehive himself, and sees that the Decepticons have now made their way to the Queenbee's tower. He transforms and heads there himself.

On the way Chromedome finds a child who had decided not to evacuate with the others. Chromedome asks him if he knows a kid named Makk and it turns on that this child is Makk. Chromedome gives him the medal and tells Makk that his father died in battle against the Decepticons. After briefly mourning his father Makk shows Chromedome a secret entrance into the Queenbee's tower.

Chromedome explains that he is an Autobot and is here to defeat the Decepticons. The Queenbee contacts the Beehive fleet and orders for them to break off their attack on the Autobot ship. Meanwhile outside Galvatron and the other Decepticons have destroyed the Beehive defence force and make their way to the tower. Galvatron tells the Queenbee that he wants all of their energy now.

Chromedome then starts to attack the Decepticons and manages to outsmart the Horrorcons, but isn't so lucky when Galvatron and Sixshot transform and blow him out of the sky, sending him into the energy moat. Galvatron then contacts Scorponok and tells him to come down here to help them out in taking the energy.

With the Beehive fleet no longer attacking them, Fortress guesses that Chromedome must have talked them into believing that Autobots are not evil. The Queenbee then contacts Fortress and tells him to come down and help them defeat the Decepticons, so Fortress does so and starts to shoot at Scorponok.

Scorponok transforms and starts to attack Fortress' ship whilst Chromedome is stored back to full health thanks to Makk helping him regain his strength in the energy moat. Reuniting with the others, Fortress tells them to use the master shot attack which is where they take one of the cannons off Fortress' ship and use it to blast Scorponok and the other Decepticons back.

Fortress then transforms and takes on Scorponok, and despite taking a few hits to the chest Fortress hits Scorponok back and then slashes his chest with the master sword, which injures him badly. Galvatron notices that Scorponok has been injured and orders all the Decepticons to retreat.

The episode then rather abruptly ends with Fortress floating in front of planet Beehive with the narrator explaining that by joining forces, the Autobots and Beehive occupants have restored peace to the planet and saved it from the Decepticons.

Apparently Transformers aren't the only being to change colour when they die, as Makk's father does it when he dies too.
