God Ginrai: Showdown at the Decepticon Base

God Ginrai is searching with the other Autobots to try and find the Decepticon base, with the plan being for them to destroy it as soon as possible. But they can only destroy it if they can find it and he has no luck in looking in the part of the ocean he's in, and none of the others find anything interesting either. Meanwhile Metalhawk tells Shūta to go to a certain point and collect a sonar device he'd left in the ocean and see if there is any data on it they can use.

As Shūta goes to collect it, Clouder calls out behind him and says that when he is in his Autobot mode, he can pick up any transmissions made by the Autobots and that searching for the Decepticon base the way they are now is a waste of time. But to make up for his past actions, he says that he will take them to where the base is really located, although Shūta thinks that it may be a trap and that he will go with Clouder to the base and then they will contact Ginrai. But Hydra has secretly seen everything.

Shūta's ego gets the better of him as he thinks that this could be his big shot at glory and he lets Clouder, who has transformed to his Decepticon mode, take him into the ocean. Hydra contacts his brother, who in turn tells Giga and Mega who say that he is not acting under their orders so he must have betrayed them and joined the Autobots. As Clouder and Shūta get closer to the base they go through a secret entrance.

They both go through a couple of doors, but soon they get to one that Clouder can't open and he doesn't know why, but then a machine fries the both of them and knocks them out with electric energy and as the two fall, the other Decepticons have watched the whole thing through a view screen and start to laugh as Giga goes to Devil Z to inform him of his plan.

The risky plan is to let God Ginrai know the location of their base so they can lure him here on his own and then destroy him. Devil Z is naturally concerned as if this plan would fail their base would most likely end up being destroyed, so he simply tells Giga that he cannot allow this mission to end in failure and leaves it in his hands, so he starts the plan off by contacting the Autobots.

Overlord tells them that they have Shūta and that it was so nice of him to come to their base without even being asked. As Shūta is beating up Clouder for betraying him again, Clouder says he is innocent and then Overlord talks to them over the dungeon's comm and says that Clouder is right, as if he was lying then why would he be in the dungeon with him? The Decepticon plan is put into motion as Hydra, Buster and the Pretenders have been sent out to cause havoc and draw all of the Autobots out leaving only Ginrai to come to get Shūta as they have demanded.

The Autobots have found the location of the Decepticon base by tracking Overlord's message signal but they know it was too easy and the Decepticons must be setting a trap for them. Lightfoot then contacts them to say that there have been various Decepticon attacks in countries such as Germany and Moscow, and they all realise that the Decepticons are trying to split them up. Ginrai has no option but to send out the Autobots to each place to fight the Decepticons whilst he goes to the Decepticon base to rescue Shūta.

Later on, Overlord is pleased to see that God Ginrai has arrived and that better yet, he has come on his own with none of the other Autobots around. As he gets to the place where the Decepticon base should be, a group of Seacons attack him and try to bite pieces of God Bomber off but they all end up being destroyed.

He then destroys one of the base's doors and heads inside, destroying more Seacons on his way as Overlord sees how he is progressing and tells Turtlar to transform into King Poseidon and go and get Shūta. Meanwhile God Ginrai comes to a point where there are two ways to go, and since he can't do both at the same time he transforms back to Super Ginrai and sends God Bomber one way whilst he goes through the other.

Super Ginrai finds Overlord and demands to be told where Shūta is, so the Decepticon presses a button to activate a screen showing him in the clutches of King Poseidon and if Ginrai doesn't want his friend to die he must throw down his weapons. He does and Overlord starts to beat him up safe in the knowledge that he won't fight back just as God Bomber finds Shūta and King Poseidon.

But he can't do anything with Shūta being held hostage and is attacked by him as the three Decepticon Headmaster Jrs show up in the room and Bullhorn helps in beating up God Bomber. But Cancer remains eerily quiet and as he sees Shūta struggling for his life, he suddenly yells out for King Poseidon to stop and then....

...shoots at him a few times, causing one of his arms to fall off and making him drop Shūta. Cancer then goes completely crazy, continuing to shoot at him and as Overlord sees this he tries to make him stop but Cancer says that he sees that the Decepticons are nothing but a bunch of murderers and he wants nothing more to do with them. Super Ginrai then knocks down the distracted Overlord and tells God Bomber to rescue Shūta and get out of there.

God Bomber deals with King Poseidon by shoving a missile into his face, and then takes Shūta away as Bullhorn tells Cancer to get out as he will no longer be safe here after what he has just done. Before the Autobots leave though, Shūta knocks down a door to get to Clouder and then Cancer finds them and says he'll show them the way out. As they head to the exit, Shūta tells God Bomber not to worry about them and he should go and find Ginrai.

Quickly finding Super Ginrai, the two transform into God Ginrai just as Overlord finds them, and after shouting at him for using such a cowardly plan he blasts one of his fists into him. Meanwhile Cancer shows the others one of the exits and the three of them head out into the sea and towards the surface.

As God Ginrai creams Overlord, he tells him that he'll settle the score later and then leaves the base and finds the others have already safely made it out as the narrator ends the episode by saying that now that the Autobots know where the Decepticon base is, it is a first step in an attack against it and they will hopefully be able to destroy it.

With this episode, Cancer has finally left the Decepticons - something that he started to think about in "A Strange Friendship: Cancer and Minerva".
