Lightfoot Must Choose: Life or Death?

At the Decepticon base, Devil Z reveals that in order for their "grand plan" to be put into motion he will be sending one of their comrades from space to Earth to help them destroy the Autobots. But for now they must eliminate the Autobot Godmasters or try and get them to change sides. Hydra and Buster are playing a game of pool whilst talking about the Godmasters when their superiors walk in and pass on the information Devil Z has just told them. They will break up the Godmasters and try to beat them individually, and the first target is Lightfoot.

Meanwhile, Shūta is looking for the others at the Autobot base to show off a Ginrai doll he's painted, but he can't find anyone around. In fact, only Phoenix seems to be in at the moment and he clearly knows something about where Hawk and the others are but he won't tell, saying that they'll be back soon. Hawk, Lander and Diver are waiting for someone to arrive as he has something important to tell them, and soon a large spaceship appears and another Autobot Pretender steps out.

It's Grand Maximus, Fortress' brother and not only is he a Pretender, but he's also a Headmaster, too. He says the reason he has come to Earth is to tell them that the Autobots in space have found out that the Decepticons in space have been contacting their comrades on Earth and are now sending something with incredible fighting abilities to the planet to destroy the Autobots once and for all. Grand says they must block it's path before it reaches this world and takes everyone inside his ship to say that his plan is to give Super Ginrai another power up that will give him the ability to go into space, and gives the blueprints to Hawk whilst saying he will bring the materials needed to create the power-up later on.

As Grand heads back to his unit in space, Hawk and the others go back to their base and take a look at the blue prints, finding out that the name of the power-up is known as "God Bomber" and the name of the project will simply be the "Bomber project". Ginrai is wondering whether or not he really needs another power-up but the others state about how something terrible is on it's way to Earth and they must stop it. They also decide to keep this project a secret from the Headmaster Jrs for now, and then Phoenix does something dorky by presenting Ginrai with a doll of himself, which he is thrilled with for about a second.

At the British Motors manufacturing plant in Canada, Road King has agreed to take part in a commercial for TV to promote the company, and Lightfoot and Ranger are there with him. They want to start but the person who has the script for the add, Lightfoot's father, isn't there yet, so they just have to wait. His father, Leftfoot, is actually still inside the main building...

...about to start a quick interview with a couple of guys. He says he doesn't have much time but the two people say that they'll hurry and then the photographer starts to take pictures, but after a few snaps, Leftfoot passes out. Pleased with the hypnosis ray in the camera, the two people are actually Hydra and Buster in disguise, who have started their plan to destroy Lightfoot.

Later on Lightfoot is passed a message saying that his father has been kidnapped by the Decepticons, with none other than Hydra and Buster being the ones responsible. If Lightfoot wants to rescue him he must go alone to a point they have chosen. The other two Autobots read the note and say that they'll go but Lightfoot tells them not to and then heads off in his Transtector by himself.

Meanwhile the Autobot Pretenders are still going over the God Bomber blueprints when they get a call from Road King and Ranger, who fill them in on the situation and that they'll keep in touch. When the others find out about this, Ginrai says that he'll go and help them whilst everyone else can continue working on the project.

Lightfoot heads towards the main building of the company only to find inside that the place has been trashed. He calls out for the Decepticons to appear but it seems that no-one is there until a single employee falls down in front of him and says that the Decepticons have taken his father to another building, along with many other workers. Lightfoot goes off to the building and sure enough...

...the two Decepticon Godmasters are there along with Leftfoot and a few captured employees, and they also have a team of Seacons waiting around. Hydra steps forward and says that if Lightfoot wants to have his father back, he will do exactly as he tells him and since he won't join the Decepticons, he'll just have to have his master-braces instead.

Since they all know that Lightfoot cannot remove the braces from his wrists, Hydra has another idea and takes out a small knife so he can just slice Lightfoot's hands off instead. As Lightfoot tries to stall him, Ranger and Road King arrive and see that the situation has gotten worse. Hydra, fed up with Lightfoot's dawdling, punches him around a bit.

Ginrai then arrives and finds the other two Autobot Godmasters, and they quickly devise a plan: Ranger can go and attempt to rescue the hostages whilst he and Road King will try and distract the Decepticons. Hydra is about to slice one of Lightfoot's hands off when Buster alerts him to the fact that other Autobots have arrived, and whilst he is distracted, Lightfoot punches him so hard in the face, part of his helmet shatters.

With the Decepticons moved, Ranger quickly frees everyone and moves Leftfoot to safety as all of the other works run for cover. Every Autobot and Decepticon Godmaster then transforms to fight as the Seacons attack, although they certainly don't do much good...

...against Ginrai and Road King, who destroy almost all of them with only a couple escaping. Road King and Ranger then help Lightfoot fight against the Decepticon Godmasters, and after Hydra is knocked down by Ranger, Road King holds Buster and lets Lightfoot punch him a lot, and he is hit so hard in his right arm that it breaks off.

The Decepticons fly away, but before they go they shoot some of the buildings to cause a fire. Later on Leftfoot thanks them all for saving him and the employees and says that the loss of a few buildings is nothing compared to lives as they can just re-build them, and he then says that if they ever need anything from him, just ask.

The commercial for British Motors is then finally done, but it's made a bit better than everyone hoped for since all four of the Autobot Godmasters take part in it. The narrator then ends the episode on a more serious tone, as the Decepticons are doing something and what could this thing be that is being sent to Earth from space?

This is the first episode in the series to use the second intro. I don't think they should have used this intro yet because it shows two characters who won't be in the series for a few episodes, but that is nothing compared to the spoiler-laden first intro.
