Terror! The Decepticons' Manhunt

On a dark and stormy night, a single security guard is doing his rounds when he hears something up ahead of him and goes toward the sound. He opens the door a little as he sees that a few creatures have entered the morgue and are breaking open various containers to get access to the bodies! The guard then turns around and runs off.

Later on, at the Decepticon base, Blood has all of the collected corpses he and the other Decepticon Pretenders got laid out in front of him, and we are also briefly shown a small pulsating energy ball type thing, but you won't find out who that is until later on in the series. Anyway, Blood says that he will bring the corpses back to life and starts to chant a phrase to do this.

And soon enough, the corpses are all bought back to life in a zombie like stage, and Blood tells them that they are now part of the Decepticon army and then gives them their first mission: go out and put the humans into an abyss of fear. So they trundle off and are soon attacking a city, breaking into shops, trashing cars and attacking humans.

But then, Lander appears and single handedly takes on all of the zombies, to the point where they all simply disappear completely and soon Lander and the human army force are the only ones around. Back at the Decepticon base, Blood and Gilmer are watching what has happened and can only wonder why their plan has failed.

News of the zombie outbreak and defeat gets to Hawk who goes on to ponder how the Decepticon Pretenders managed to revive in the first place, as the Autobots had sealed them away in three different locations across the Earth, but they somehow came back to life. Professor then says that if the Decepticons continue to revive, then they will have to use...them.

At the Decepticon base once again, Blood decides that using humans which are already dead is useless, and that they will try his plan again, only this time they'll use living humans with real souls instead as they should work a lot better. He sends Gilmer and Dauros to go and get some on a little heard of remote island whilst he goes off to distract the Autobots so they can't interfere.

Diver just happens to be on a vacation but his relaxation is soon interrupted when he sees a couple of other boats ahead of him suddenly sink and some claws appear, and it can only mean one thing: the Decepticons are here. So he contacts Hawk who tells him that he and Phoenix are already on their way. Shuta also begs to go along as he wants to see their enemies, and after plenty of whining Metalhawk gives in and lets him go along on the ride.

Meanwhile, at the Karin islands, a young Prince called Cab is busy healing an injured monkey when his grandfather, Donq, comes running over to tell him the great news: he has a place at a school in Japan where he can go to study. But Cab isn't interested in that really and says that he'd rather stay here instead, and despite his grandfather's protests he runs off but then stops when a load of birds suddenly fly up into the sky.

And suddenly Cab finds himself surrounded by a group of Decepticons, led by Dauros. New to this episode are another part of the Seacon team, Lobclaw units, who come under attack from Metalhawk who has just arrived. But he had to drop off Shuta first and now he is in danger because Dauros is chasing after him having lost Cab.

Having defeated the Lobclaws, Metalhawk comes in to save Shuta and gets Dauros to back off, but the Decepticon Pretender gets away and vanishes before Metalhawk can go after him. Meanwhile, at a small town on the islands, another part of the Seacon team, Overbite, arrives and starts to capture some of the townsfolk.

A little later on, Hawk, Diver and Shuta head into the island to try and find out what the Decepticons are up to but Cab sees them and wants to know what they are up to. Donq says that they've come to investigate what is going on but Cab says that they are giant robots in disguise and then runs off. Phoenix then arrives and Hawk says that he'll search from the air with him whilst Diver searches the sea for any clues, and also tells Shuta to go and explain to Cab the real story.

Shuta goes off and finds Cab, but he isn't interested in listening to him and thinks that he is a robot soldier wacko. A bird then flies in and somehow Cab can understand what it screeches at him, and it tells him that it saw several creatures on the "Isle of the Gods" so he heads off to check it out for himself. Shuta informs the Autobots about this but they are too late to stop him as he's already under attack by an Overbite.

The Autobots find out where this Isle of the Gods is are it's exactly where the Decepticons are, and they are about to try and use the humans that they have captured into their slaves when the Autobots get there and a fight breaks out, but with only Gilmer and Dauros around the Decepticons are outnumbered and are soon retreating, perhaps a little too easily. Soon all of the prisoners are rescued.

With the Decepticons gone, Cab is now much calmer about the situation and thinks that the Autobots are pretty cool, and Donq asks Hawk to take Can to Japan with him so he can get into the school, and Hawk and Cab both agree to this. Lander then contacts the others saying that Professor Gō's lab is under Decepticon attack!

Blood is the one behind the assault an with only Lander about the lab starts to crumble. Lander tackles Blood but he recovers and makes a pillar fall down on top of Gō, and soon after this the entire complex goes up with a series of explosions. The Autobots arrive early the next morning but they are too late as the Decepticons are long gone and the lab is in ruins.

The Autobots find Lander and Gō, but Gō has been injured badly and it is clear that he is not going to live for much longer. He tells Hawk that it is the time for them to be used and then gives Shuta a key and tells him to be strong before passing away, as we see one final aerial shot of the now completely ruined laboratory.

The Autobots now have a new base, and it's hidden away in a hill where no-one but them would even know it was there, as the narrator says that this day will mark the beginning of a new journey towards the future.

What that key does that Gō gives to Shuta is never revealed, although it probably unlocked the front door to the new Autobot base maybe?

What is this "them" that Gō keeps mentioning? Wait until the fourth episode to find out!
