Awaken! Victory Leo

The Autobots have heard that the Decepticons are in the far east and have moved the Shuttle base to Japan, but Victory Leo is still causing havoc by going way overboard in his training. He completely annihilates a load of rock by punching, kicking and shooting it as the other Autobots question whether or not he really is Ginrai reborn. As they go back inside Machtackle picks up a strange signal on his computer.
 

Meanwhile Perceptor, Minerva and Wheeljack are still healing Star Saber, and discuss that the only place they can put the "unification device" is in his head. Wingwaver then reports in saying that they've intercepted a Decepticon signal which says something about mount. Asama, which is where Japan's largest geothermal energy plant is. The plant is also fully automated meaning that there are no humans there. Believing that the Decepticons are to attack it Star Saber doesn't let the Multiforce go but instead sends Victory Leo along with Jan and Holi, which most of the others are surprised by.
 

Near the energy plant, Gaihawk and Hellbat are waiting for the other Decepticons to arrive when they see Victory Leo flying past. Gaihawk has never seen him before and rushes off to fight him, and rejects Hellbat's offer to help him. After a few seconds Gaihawk is shot down and Hellbat pops up to tell him that that's what you get for not accepting his assistance and then he runs off.
 

Jan and Holi arrive at the plant only to be surrounded by Jaruga, Killbison and Drillhorn. But then Victory Leo flies in and transforms to take them all on at once and is soon dominating his opponents. Jan and Holi go around to the back of the plant to guard the main door as Leozack arrives and tells Killbison and Drillhorn to go in and start taking energy whilst he fights Victory Leo.
 

The two Decepticons head off and blast Holi, and then run inside the energy plant. Holi says that there is a main switch inside which can shut down the entire plant and that they must go and turn it off before the Decepticons make any energy. As they go inside, Hellbat finds Leozack and tells him that Gaihawk has been injured, but Leozack just tells him to go inside the plant and help the others.
 

Jan and Holi are separated but the Decepticons find both of them. Hellbat says something creepy and then chases Jan about the place whilst Drillhorn corners Holi in one room and then blows up part of the roof, crushing the Autobot under a lot of rubble.
 

Holi is chased into a room by Hellbat, and locked inside it where he finds Holi. He's still alive but trapped under all the rubble and they can't contact Shuttle base as Holi's communicator is broken. Meanwhile at the base, Perceptor is about to begin another operation on Star Saber in which the unification device will be put into Star Saber's head, but the Autobot leader is worried that if Victory Leo doesn't awaken soon, it will be all for nothing. Wingwaver then bursts in saying that they haven't heard from Jan, Holi or Victory Leo for a while but Star Saber says that they must be OK as Victory Leo is there. Perceptor then starts the operation.
 

Outside the plant Victory Leo has Leozack pinned down and threatens to blow his head off if he moves or if Jaruga gets any closer. But whatever the other Decepticons are doing inside the plant isn't doing much good to it as it's starting to explode! Jan is still in there and cries out for help which Victory Leo hears as well. Leozack tells him to go and help them but he doesn't move.
 

Jan keeps calling out for help though and something clicks inside Victory Leo, as he begins to realise who he used to be. Jan then yells out for Ginrai to come and save them and this finally awakens Victory Leo, who realises that he was once God Ginrai who not only fought Decepticons but helped others out when they needed it, too.
 

Beating down on Leozack and Jaruga again, he transforms and heads inside the energy plant where the other three Decepticons are finishing off the energy they're making. He finds them and then rips them apart before running into the room where Jan and Holi are. He tells Holi that everything is going to be OK now.
 

He then moves all of the rubble off Holi and picks him up, and then is soon back outside with the both of them. Leozack and Jaruga rather foolishly wish to keep on fighting and both get blown away by Victory Leo's missiles.
 

With the plant no longer in danger of blowing up for some reason, they return to Shuttle base where Perceptor and the other medics complete the operation and have successfully installed the "unification device" in Star Saber's head. He gets up fully repaired and thanks Jan for awakening Victory Leo. Outside, Star Saber finds and tells Victory Leo that from now on, they will fight together.

When the Decepticons corner Holi and Jan, Killbison gives the finger once more.
