Unite! Liokaiser

With Gaihawk rescued, the Decepticons have returned to planet Micro and have hidden the Thunder Arrow away from the Autobots. Inside the ship the new Decepticon thanks the others for their assistance but asks why Hellbat isn't here. Leozack says that he is completely untrustworthy and he asked him to step outside.
 

Outside the room Hellbat is nervous and doesn't understand why he has been told to wait behind. He uses a computer to listen into the room and is horrified to discover that the Brestforce are going to get another new member and that when they do they are going to get rid of Hellbat! With this new information Hellbat wonders what he can do.
 

Deszaras then drops a line and finds out that Gaihawk has been rescued. The Brestforce are then told to return to Earth and start to take energy, but as Deszaras' message ends the Brestforce have other plans they need to do first.
 

Star Saber's group of Autobots are still on Micro and believe that the Decepticons are still there as their space patrols have found no signs of them leaving the planet. Star Saber is doing everything he can to find them but knows that there must have been some reason for them to bust Gaihawk out of jail and that he isn't just some underling. He then sends Holi, Jan and Clipper out to the mountains to see if there is any Decepticon activity going on.
 

Meanwhile Hellbat is going more and more crazy, thinking about things like all of the other Brestforce laughing at him. He thinks that he only has one chance and heads off, but is spotted by the Autobot patrol who decide to follow him and see if he's going to where the other Decepticons are. But really he's actually gone to meet this new Decepticon...
 

...who is called Deathcobra, and when he sees Hellbat he thinks he's come to escort him back to the other Decepticons but he wants to talk with him. So the two transform and Leozack explains that he wants Deathcobra to go back as if he joins them then he will be gotten rid of. But Deathcobra doesn't care about that and calls Hellbat a weak-willed infant who doesn't deserve to be a Decepticon.
 

Hellbat continues to beg but Deathcobra isn't having any of it and eventually smacks him out of the way. In a desperate move Hellbat shakily draws his gun out and threatens to shoot Deathcobra if he doesn't head back but he doesn't believe he has the guts and grabs his weapon, but in the struggle Hellbat accidentally fires and damages him.
 

The Autobots hear gunshots and head over to find two Decepticons fighting each other, although they only recognise Hellbat. Meanwhile Deathcobra starts to shoot at Hellbat and even though he is injured he manages to force his opponent into cowering behind some rocks.
 

Hellbat tells him to stay back and starts to shoot wildly in an attempt to keep him away but one of his stray shots hits Deathcobra right in the chest, and he falls over.

He's dead. Oops.
 

Believing that the best thing to do is to hide the body, Hellbat is about to move the corpse when he sees the Autobots and gets a better idea. He transforms and heads back to the Thunder Arrow where he tells the other Brestforce that Deathcobra was killed by some Autobot kid and he saw them standing over his body. Most of them believe him but Leozack wants to see where their comrade was killed first.
 

The Autobot patrol are standing over the Decepticon's body but they don't know who he is as none of them have ever seen him before. Holi contacts Star Saber who says he's on his way and for them to be careful as Leozack and the others must be near by. And then the Brestforce attack demanding revenge for Deathcobra.
 

Leozack sees the body of his old friend and tells him that he wished they could have fought together again but he promises revenge for his death. He then tells the others he wants a bloodbath and they all concentrate their fire on the Autobots and soon scatter them. The Decepticons move in for the kill, but before they can finish the job...
 

...Star Saber saves the day and ships Jan, Holi and Clipper out on the V-Star. The Brestforce then fight him but even though it's six on one the Autobot leader outfights both them and their Brest animals. But before he can claim total victory Leozack reveals the Brestforce's combination form...
 

Liokaiser
 

Even when Star Saber merges back with the V-Star he proves to be no match for the might of Liokaiser, who thrashes him around a bit and almost kills Holi. Clipper and Jan head off to get help as Star Saber continues to lose against this new opponent, and is about to be shot in the head when God Ginrai appears out of nowhere and does the honourable thing of sneaking up behind Liokaiser and suplexing him.
 

With God Ginrai here to help things look for the better until Liokaiser starts to smash him around a bit too, but Star Saber gets back up and grabs the Decepticon gestalt and this lets God Ginrai move in and punch him a lot. Finally managing to knock down Liokaiser the two Autobots stand over him as he gets back up...
 

...tells the Autobots they were lucky this time and then separates back to the six individual Brestforce members, who all run off. Star Saber attempts to follow them but his severe injuries mean he can't and God Ginrai has to help him get back to the other Autobots. Holi believes that this is his fault as he failed to help Star Saber but he is told that it wasn't.
 

The Autobots believe that they must have being doing well to make the Decepticons so desperate to increase their power but now that Liokaiser is around and that even Star Saber, the strongest Autobot, couldn't defeat him it spells big trouble for them all. Star Saber says that they must return to Earth and try to stop them as the narrator explains over a picture of the Earth and the Brestforce that this was only the first battle Star Saber had had against the new Decepticon and that many more were to come.

This episode marks the first appearance of Liokaiser. Presumably if Deathcobra had survived then he would have been able to transform into Liokasier's left arm instead of Hellbat.
