Unite!! Multiforce
| |
|
The Thunder Arrow has moved out of the ocean and into space, hiding in a asteroid belt. Inside the ship all of the Decepticons gather together and Leozack accuses the Dinoforce of being stupid, useless idiots and that their performance is why they have been losing battles to the Autobots. This gets some laughs out of Brestforce members Jaruga, Killbison and Drillhorn, who have recently arrived to help the Decepticon cause.

Deszaras tells everyone to stop arguing and show him their newest plan. Leozack has devised a scheme to attack an energy plant on Earth, where they can take as much energy they want to make themselves extremely powerful. They will move in and take the entire plant by force, but they mustn't damage the towers in the central section as these are where the energy is kept. By having the entire plant, when the Autobots come to attack them they will have much more room to fight and it means less chance that the towers will be damaged. Deszaras approves and the Brestforce and Dinoforce move out.

At the Autobot base, the Multiforce are busy watching Jan trying to move a boulder by using a level to pull it. Jan manages to move the boulder and asks how it was possible given how it was so heavy. Wingwaver explains that even a small amount of strength can move a huge object when a level is used to do it.

Star Saber then wanders over to see what's going on and is pleased to see that Jan is learning new things. He then tells the Multiforce that now the Decepticons have landed on Earth, they must do their best to protect it and to start with, they will be doing more patrols. He asks Wingwaver to take Machtackle and Dashtacker out and then leaves. Jan then asks Wingwaver if he can go too.

At the energy plant, one of the workers is feeding this puppy he found when he hears something behind him and sees that part of the plant is on fire. The Decepticons have arrived and soon lots of explosions rock the plant and send the human workers everywhere, as the Dinoforce lead the assault into the plant itself.

Jan is making Wing fly him around and do many loop the loops, even though they are suppose to be on patrol. But they then see a large plume of black smoke some distance away and decide to head over and take a look, where they see that the Dinoforce are attacking the plant. The Autobots tells Jan to stay back whilst they go in to fight the Decepticons.

The Dinoforce are wandering where the Brestforce are any why they aren't helping them fight the Autobots, but Leozack and co. are hiding in the sand outside the plant, and are just watching. Leozack reckons that they can just wait until the Autobots get worn down, then they can destroy them and take the plant's energy without straining themselves. Back at the plant, Yokuryu is chasing Wing around the place and shooting lasers at him.

He ends up being shot down in flames though, and the Dinoforce are busy firing on the Autobots when they see him crash behind them. Goryu tells everyone to transform and that merge into Dinoking, who laughs at them for thinking that they will be able to take him on. Even so, Wingwaver tells Machtackle and Dashtacker to concentrate their fire on him...

...but he doges it all and then fires back with his wrist laser, scattering all of the Autobots. Jan, who for some reason has decided to head towards the plant, sees this and quickly contacts the Autobots and tells them all they they need help immediately. The Brainmasters transform and roll out towards the plant, but Jan's transmission was heard by the Brestforce who reveal themselves from the sand. Leozack and Drillhorn head towards the plant whilst Killbison and Jaruga stay behind to deal with the soon to be arriving Autobots.

Jan watches as the Multiforce try their best to stop Dinoking but they can't seem to hurt him at all. Rairyu then appears behind him and chases Jan around the plant, and as Jan tries to escape, he runs into a dark alley which has been blocked off due to the explosions. There's no way out for him until someone grabs him and moves him out the way before Rairyu can get there.

With Dinoking creaming them, the Multiforce think that they stand a much better chance if they unite too and merge into Landcross, the second and final Autobot gestalt robot in this series.

Leozack and Drillhorn can only stare on as Landcross fights Dinoking. Meanwhile the guy who grabbed Jan is one of the plant's workers, and takes him to a group of survivors who are hiding out in a building, which is starting to crumble. Jan tells everyone not to worry though as soon Star Saber and the other Autobots will be here to save them.

Star Saber and the other Brainmasters arrive at that exact moment, and the Autobot leader easily gets past Jaruga and Killbison by evading their fire and flying over them both, and before they can give chase Blacker and the others attack them. Meanwhile that little puppy we saw earlier leads Jan and the surviving workers to a trapped worker, who happens to be that worker we saw feeding the puppy earlier on in the episode. Back outside Star Saber and Landcross team up to take on Dinoking, Leozack and Drillhorn.

Jan has the idea of using a level to move the pipe which is trapping the worker, and all of the other workers set one up. After a lot pf pulling, the pipe is risen a bit and the worker is moved out of the way. Meanwhile Dinoking fights Star Saber, but gets beaten and all of the Dinoforce run away.

Leozack tells them to get back here but it's to late, and soon he and the other Decepticons retreat as well. With the plant kind of saved, the worker is reunited with the puppy as Star Saber and Landcross look out across the sea. Star Saber tells him that they didn't just come to Earth to fight Decepticons, but they will defend the Earth and protect it's people. That is their mission.
Each Multiforce member is made up of two vehicles that transform into one robot. Sounds a bit like the Duocons from The Headmasters, yes? Well, the thing that differs the Multiforce from the Duocons is that the two vehicles also have robot modes, and usually in this series we never see them. But in this episode, Wing transforms from jet to robot, and he looks like this. I won't be going into much detail with these characters though because it just gets too confusing.
The worker who takes care of the puppy is never named in the Japanese version, but in the English dub he's called Pete.
